The women behind the design
Behind Wearing Poetry is a team of Danish women with over 25 years of experience in the lingerie industry. We know the craft, the size grading, and the materials – and, most importantly, we know the feeling of putting on something so well-fitting you forget you’re wearing it.
Our team spans many personalities, shapes, sizes, and ages, and we wear-test every single prototype ourselves before it goes to external fittings. We don’t design for an idealised body; we design for real women – in real sizes, with real needs.
We work side by side in an open studio – without uniforms or rigid rules. There’s room for sparring, space to focus, and a smile between adjustments. We enjoy working together, and yes, we have fun while doing the serious work – because great fit is best created in an environment with both professionalism and presence. That’s why our process is built on curiosity and honest feedback: we try, feel, talk, and fine-tune until the fit feels right in everyday life – not just on paper. To us, a good fit is a shared craft where experience, empathy, and detail meet.
Our Journey: Closing the Gap We Couldn’t Ignore
Wearing Poetry began with a clear insight: the market lacked a bra that truly unites uncompromising support, refined aesthetics, and a fair price. So we set out to design the piece we ourselves were missing. We tested, adjusted, and refined – again and again – drawing on feedback from women across sizes until the fit met our standards for comfort, lift, and longevity. The bra you find here is the result: created with care, backed by experience.
You may recognise the problem: beautiful bras that do not support; supportive bras that are not beautiful; or options priced out of reach. We chose to close that gap. Our design brings together everything you have been looking for – without compromise. Premium fit, thoughtful construction, and elevated materials – at a price that makes sense.

Our products are made in Europe with specialised partners we know and check regularly. A short, tightly managed supply chain gives us transparency, reliable lead times, and precise control of both fit and finish. We work in long-term relationships with factories that share our standards for craft and responsible production and operate under EU labour and environmental regulations.
Every production run follows a defined quality protocol from start to finish. Each batch undergoes measurement checks and visual inspection before packing, with full traceability maintained throughout.
